At Knobs, our technology is suitable for components with a high degree of shape complexity that are to be manufactured without reworking (undercuts, thread). It also enables the production of components whose geometric details cannot be produced mechanically (lamellas with wall thickness of <0.5mm).

The process is suitable for medium to large quantities, for example from 10,000 to >1,000,000 pieces. The typical component dimensions are:

• Component weight: 0.1 to 250g
• Wall thickness: 0.4 to 10mm
• Component dimensions: up to 150mm

Our machinery and equipments come with top notch capabilities up to -0.02mm tolerance.

The main areas of application are automotive and mechanical engineering, electronics, medical devices, consumer products and household appliances.
